Dry pailing is preferred for storing your dirty modern cloth nappies.

This method is used instead of the traditional method of soaking them in a bucket while they wait to be washed. It is best to have no lid and plenty of holes to allow ventilation. This helps to reduce smells and degradation of your nappies by preventing ammonia build-up and bacteria growth.

You will need two dry pails. One is used for nappies that have been pre-washed and are awaiting a main wash. The other is for soiled nappies that have just been taken off your babies bum.
